ufabet http://ufabet999.app English media outlet. Reported that Fulham and West Ham United have shown interest in signing Manchester City ‘s young playmaker James McAtee in the January transfer window.

McAtee enjoyed a fine spell on loan at Sheffield United over the past two seasons, making 75 appearances, scoring 14 goals and providing eight assists.

The 22-year-old midfielder has returned to Manchester City this season. But has failed to break into the first team, making just six appearances in all competitions for Pep Guardiola’s side, starting just three times.

Chelsea showed interest over the summer but recent reports suggest West Ham and Fulham are monitoring the situation closely.

McAtee is contracted to the Etihad Stadium until 2026. And sources predict the Citizens could be willing to sell for no less than £20million.

McAtee is still highly regarded at City and they have not ruled out offering him a new deal. With his current contract due to expire in the summer of 2026. Equally City have not been averse to selling homegrown talents in recent years. Especially as doing so helps their position with the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules.

West Ham have struggled in midfield this season, both from a physical and creative perspective. Lucas Paquetá, their star player, has been underwhelming. The Brazil midfielder has been charged with a breach of the Football Association’s betting regulations. Paquetá denies the charge.

It remains to be seen if West Ham. Who have used the international break to assess the managerial situation should they decide to sack Julen Lopetegui. Will have a big budget in January. They spent more than £100m last summer.

Man City remain admirers of McAtee and hold him in high regard. But they are not ruling out selling players who have a homegrown quota to comply with Premier League financial rules.
